Privacy Policy

If Mackells Inn shares a private link with you to suggest an event, the form asks for your name, your email address, the event details, and an optional photo. We use this only to review the event, post it on the site if it is a good fit, and send you a short confirmation email. Photos you send stay private unless the event is published. Your name and email are never shown on the public site.

People who help run the site sign in to an admin area with an email address and password. Account details are used only to run the site.

Emails from this site, such as submission confirmations, are sent through an email delivery provider. The site itself is hosted with a cloud hosting and database provider. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us.

The map in our Visit Us section is provided by Google. When you view or use the map, Google may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.

We link to our Instagram and Facebook pages. Anything you do on those sites is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Only if you click Accept, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our site, including pages viewed, general location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We do not use it to identify you personally. If you decline or have not chosen yet, Google Analytics does not load.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you change from Accept to Decline, we stop Google Analytics and clear its cookies. Read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Our hosting platform also keeps basic visit counts, such as how many people visit the site and which pages they view, without using this to identify you personally.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising pixels or ad trackers on this site.

Mackells Inn is a 21 and over venue, and this website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

You can ask to see what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by calling the bar at (773) 445-9181 or writing to us at Mackells Inn, 3259 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655.
